Our Special Story

The Lazy Bakery has become bigger than I ever thought it would. This was a small idea to make fast money, post pandemic, that has turned into a consistent, professional passion of mine. My name is Brianna Evans and I was born and raised(survived) in New York. I am the owner and baker of The Lazy Bakery! This business was established by our loyal customers supporting our weekly treat boxes in late 2021. We would bake our treats daily and post deals on our Instagram stories to gain customers.

Originally, The Lazy Bakery sold mason jars filled with the dry ingredients to bake cookies, brownies and cakes with. We would attach a recipe card to the jar that only required you to add the wet ingredients. It was quick for the consumer to bake because half the work was already done, hence
‘The Lazy Bakery’.

After we sold our first batch of jars, friends of mine would ask for me to just bake the treats and offer additional money. After I would bake a batch of cookies, I would post it on social media and I became the hood baker overnight. Learning how to run a small business came easy to me but I knew this was something I could grow further into. After 6 months of consistent business locally, life changed for me and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. This is when my business was put to the test.

After settling down in Georgia, I realized that my content and creativity had to elevate being that my core clientele was now in a different state. I got into my new routine and tried to post everyday after work. It grew my page and eventually we started shipping all over the country! It kept me motivated knowing that my customers still wanted to support me no matter where I was located. We were still able to cater gatherings, birthdays and satisfy any sweet tooth you had!

After about 2 years now, we are currently located in Pennsylvania! We are still shipping weekly and serving the local areas with pickup/delivery and simple buttercream cakes!

Our story is a special one because this business has taught me and my customers that you can do anything your heart desires. When you stay in alignment, you attract everything that’s already yours to begin with. It’s your job to just stay consistent.
